George Keramidas has studied in New York, the USA, from where he obtained his B.S. in Physics and M.S. in Physics and Electrical Engineering. He consequently gained a degree in Cognitive Science, with an emphasis on learning theories, at the Kapodistrian University of Athens. After that, he dealt with the counseling of sensitive groups and their personal development. It led him to attend courses at the Aegean University, getting a specialization in Counseling and Life Coaching.
As a high -School principal he dealt with numerous cases of student misconduct and misbehaviour, subtance abuse and juvenile dilinquency.
He has organised many seminars on informatics teaching, family counseling, personal growth, collaborative learning and violent behavior prevention for the schooll faculty, the students and their families.
He implemented several innovative programs in class such as WRS Robotics, LEGO Mindstorms, hip-hop, and cooking skills. He organized free-meal programs for the vulnerable groups through the Archdiocese of Athens.
He’s married and has four children. He is an avid runner and triathlete.
